Kuwait - 30th November 2019:VIVA, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers and enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, and a subsidiary of STC Group, has sponsored the fourth Kuwait Association for Learning Differences (KALD)’s Distinguished Teachers Award Ceremony, with the first and only award in the Arab World to be granted to the teachers of students with learning difficulties in Kuwait. The Event was held at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre in presence of Eng. Maziad AlHarbi VIVA CEO and Ms. Amaal Al-Sayer KALD Chairperson.
Both AlHarbi and Al-Sayer honored the Award Judging Committee and the three winners of KALD Distinguished Teacher’s Award announced during the event.

The participating teachers were judged by a committee of members who have a lengthy track record in the field of education. The evaluation was based on international standards used in the educational sector and in accordance with the teaching methodology of “Charlotte Danielson”, which is an effective and successful model for evaluating the performance of the teachers.
A documentary film about KALD Distinguished Teacher Award was presented during the ceremony, followed by an entertainment acts performed by the student Faisal Al-Nashmi. The event was attended by several VIP and social figures.
